American Truck Buyer - the biggest Truck and Trailer database on the net
Welcome to American Truck Buyer's Journey. Our goals and objectives are simple, and that is to become the biggest truck and trailer database on the net. Currently working on our search engine optimization www.americantruckbuyer.com is moving up the ranks. Little by little we are taking a market share of the used and new truck industry on the internet. As Truckers, Dealers, Transportation companies etc are starting to join in on our intents to accomplish our dreams. Doing business and making deals with anyone in the trucking industry our horizons are widening and opportunities are constantly being offered. Our goal now is to decipher in which deals we should take part of and which we should refrain from.
Our Trucker newsletter officially begins the 1st of February and we are excited about it. The goal of the newsletter will be to educate truckers on what they should gaze their eyes on in the trucking industry. Important details on what we are offering and new departments that are being opened will also be featured in the newsletter, along with special offers our web site will be offering. On the first newsletter we will cover the merging of Americantruckbuyer.com with commercialtruckparts.com to provide quality trucks and parts, service, and maintenance all in one location on the web.
Our latest attempt to bring our company into the market place in an exciting manner is to offer dealers FREE marketing solutions for their dealers. We want dealers to put up their trucks on our web site for free as of now. As a result of our database expanding new pages will be created on our site and more traffic will begin to flow into our web site. Revenues will be low in the truck advertising department; however, the increasing sales of every other department will do more than make up for the lost revenues and increased internet expenses.

QUESTION:
What is the biggest stock pickup truck?
I am eventually going to get a big pickup truck, and was wondering what pickup is the biggest stock? By big i mean tall, cab size, and total length. I would not want to get a dually, so if one of those would take the cake, then just cross that off the list. Thank you for any help.-
ANSWER:
I have been a car dealer in Florida for almost 20 years. I believe its a Ford F550 & yes it comes in a Dually as well as a crew cab as well as a 4X4 .You can have a dealer put a factory lift kit 2 inches & up. Would strongly only suggest having it done by dealer, Ford , Chevy, Dodge.Good Luck & I hope this helps,

QUESTION:
How to I get used to driving a big pickup truck?
I've been driving smaller SUV's my whole life, and I decided to get a Tundra. I was going to get a Tacoma because it was smaller, but others thought it was better to just go with the bigger Tundra.I LOVE this truck, don't get me wrong, but it's uncomfortable to feel that it is so much wider than anything I've ever driven, and I've been having to learn how to park all over again.
Any tips?
-
ANSWER:
just practice, parking is the hardest thing to get, but eventually you will get it perfectly.I have a 2000 Tundra, which was my first actual car (had a Z28 camaro, but my dad made me sell it before I got my license because it was "too fast")
I year later, i can park, reverse, parallel, whatever
And i have no trouble driving 90 in a 45 zone.
* well anyways it'll make you a better driver, i can drive my dad's civic like i've been driving for over 10 years, haven't had a ticket or accident in my 3 years of driving.

QUESTION:
What's the biggest/heaviest thing you've ever hauled in your pickup truck?
In the bed, on a trailer, or both. And what kind of truck? Engine?Me: I don't have a LOT to haul, but I hauled 1600 pounds of mulch (forty 40 lb bags) in the bed of my '98 Chevy 1500, 350 V8. Didn't phase it. You?

ANSWER:
7000lb skid loader on a 1500lb car trailer behind my Jeep Grand Cherokee. 4.0L I6 engine, 4 Speed auto trans. Worked like a charm. Even with that load on it accelerated fairly quick. Jeeps 4.0L I6 engine is a well respected engine due to its dependability (Over 300,000 mile avg. life) and high torque output for a gasoline engine.
