Take two pieces of stiff cardboard, scotch tape, two pencils, a rubber band, and scissors. Cut a rectangle from one piece of cardboard. Use the other to make 4 wheels. Cut the rubber band so it is no longer a loop, and tape one end securely to the middle of one pencil. Tape the other end securely to the middle of one end of the rectangle (you could also use a stapler). Attach the pencils to either end of the rectangle by overlapping two pieces of tape so that the ends stick to the rectangle, but not to the pencils. Make sure the pencils are attached to the top of the rectangle, not the ends. Poke holes in the wheels and put them over the ends of the pencils. To run it, wind back the axle attached to the rubber band and release the car. Voila, rubber band car!

How to get rid of a Junk car?
I am in California and not sure of the laws here. I purchased a car in 92, paid it off a few years later and now it’s been sitting around in my garage for the past 4 years because I can no longer drive due to illness. I would like to junk it or at least get it out of my garage. NONE of the paperwork is up to date, and it was recently broken into, so what I did have is now lost. I did keep in my home the sales info from the dealer so I do have proof its mine. I really can’t spend the $$ from the DMV to get everything up to date just so I can junk it..... Should I dig a really big hole in my backyard or is there a way to get this thing out of my hair?

After four days that I bought a used car at Tyson in Shorewood, IL, the engine of this car failed.
I try to negotiate with the person that sold this car and with general sales manager of the store Jim Kinney, but they were very unhelpful and disrespectful. You made the purchase, you made the decision that the car was running fine, and you are the responsible party, not the dealer. If the car engine failed after only 60miles of driving, it had serious issues, when you took possession. There is no one to blame, but yourself. Next time you car shop, take someone with you that has knowledge about cars and car buying.
